A tearful farewell to Sri Ramdaur Singh by Annapur villagers, Social Activists, Swayamsevaks at his native village

Sri Ramdaur Singh, a senior-most leader of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh has suddenly passed away on 24th early morning at Jaipur due to Breathlessness. He was a chronic diabetic patient. Recently, he has developed a new problem. Whenever sugar level variates, he used get vomit continuously for few minutes.The same thing happened on 22nd December when he attended Vidyuth Mahasangh’s All India Executive committee meetings held at Udaipur. But, severe cold of North India made him most discomfort and he was feeling uneasy due to breathing problems. On 24th morning he had to attend a Specialist .But ‘The Lord has called Him’ in the early morning itself. On the fateful day, around 3.30 AM, he called, state organising secretary SRI Ramvilas Parikh and informed him about, his difficulty in taking breath. After giving his regular medicines also doing small physiotherapy he slept. As, routine, when karyalaya people called him for tea, he did not responded. He lost his breath leaving thousands of BMS Karyakarthas in shock and grief.

Homage at Jaipur

Sri Ramdaurji was born in an interior village Annapur, in Alapur Tahsil of Ambedkar District, Uttar Pradesh. His mortals took to his native village after paying rich tributes at Jaipur. Hundreds of Workers from different unions ,in and around jaipur have attended and paid their homage.The prominent persons like Sri Arun Chaturvedi ,Minister Rajasthan Govt. ; Sri Durgaprasadji,Kshetra Pracharak;Sri GS Gill, Additional Advocate General; Sri Pawankumar ,BMS Zonal Organising Secretary of North Central Zone ;Sri SK Rathod ,BMS Finance Secretary have participated and offered their condolences .

 

Annapur village programme

The mortal body was brought from Jaipur to his native village Annapur. Sri Pawan Kumar, Zonal Organising Secretary; Sri Raj Bihari Sharma, Working President, Rajasthan; Sri Deenanath Runthla, State General Secretary, BMS, Rajasthan and few other karyakarthas were accompanied with the body. On the enroot hundreds of karyakarthas paid their homage to the departed soul at Agra, Kanpur and Faizabad .

Annapur, the village in grief has received the mortal body with full of tears. Entire village has assembled near his house. Three younger sisters, his nephews ,children's of his elders brothers ,huge number of family members,  relatives , people from neighbouring villages have visited his house and paid their tributes.Really ,it was a emotions surcharged atmosphere in the village. Large number of young & old, women, children including small kids were offering Pranams to this mortal body.

 Sri Surendran, All India Deputy Organising secretary of BMS has briefed the services rendered by Ramdaurji and his contributions for strengthening BMS in different parts of the country. The villagers were proud of such personality. Many people said that “they did not know the greatness of their child”. They were also astonished after knowing his commitment & dedication towards Nationalistic cause.

Sri Ramdaurji was born on 5th July 1941 at Annapur Village in small farmer’s family. He had two elder brothers and three sisters. The entire family was intuition with spiritual feelings.

 

Last rites performed on the banks of Sarayu.

For cremation, the body took to nearby Chavada ghat, on the bank of Holy River Sarayu. The last rites were performed in presence of large gathering .Many prominent personalities participated in those Last rites. On behalf of RSS, Sri Ashok Bheri, Akhil Bharatiya Adhkari; Sri Sivnarayanji ,kshetra Pracharak;Sri Ramkumar ,Kshetra Karyavaha; Sri Shiv Lahariji, Prantha Pracharak of Jaipur ; Dr Anil Singh ,Pranth Karyavaha  of Avadh Pranth; Sri Sukh Dev Misra,Sri Akthar Hussain , Sri Virendrakumar, Sri Avadhes kumar from Central BMS ; Sri HN Pandey,Member of Parliament ; Sri Triveni Rai, MLA ; UP State General Secretary Sri Srikath Awasti, Organising secretary Sri Anupam was the prominent persons participated.

 

Organisational responsibilities –

Sri Ramdaurji held many responsibilities in Sangha and Mazdoor Sangh. He resigned from Postal RMS job and came out as Pracharak.In Sangha, his main area of work was in Uttara Pradesh. Worked as tahasil Pracharak at Mohamadi, Viswva , and Sidhauli  tehsils. Also worked as Shajahanpur Jilla Pracharak, Sitapur Vibagh Pracharak and Gadwal Vibagh Pracharak. In 1983, he has been shifted to BMS. Due to his strenuous efforts, hard work and continuous touring he laid strong foundations for BMS work not only in Uttaranchal Pradesh but also in other areas where ever he worked. In BMS, he held different responsibilities. He was State Organising Secretary & State General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, Incharge of Sugar Federation, BMS All India Secretary, All India Vice President, Zonal Organising Secretary of West Zone, North West Zone, North Zone. He was very strict on organisational norms and discipline. Always giving more stress on implementation of decisions. Under his able leadership only, the last all India conference was held which can be told as State of Art one.

A veteran Trade Union leader always maintained good relations with colleagues .He was the “Trouble shooter” for hundreds of Karyakarthas. Through his simplicity and devotion he inspired scores of workers.  The sudden demise of Sri Ramdaur Singhji is a great shock and great loss to BMS.
