The former All India President of BMS, Adv. Saji Narayanan commented that, Sri. B R Ambedkar was not only the architect of the Constitution but also the architect of labour law reforms. It was he who implemented the reforms seen today in the labour sector. It was Ambedkar who brought eight hours of work, minimum wages, ESI, PF, etc. for the workers. It was Ambedkar who declared that the strike is the utmost right of the workers / labours. Sri. Saji Narayanan said he was the one who said that all citizens should get the facilities of life.Sri. Saji Narayanan was addressing at the function arranged at the Ernakulam Labour Studies Centre of BMS at Ernakulam on the occasion of Ambedkar Smriti day and book launch function. The second edition of the book in Malayalam on the Social Revolutionary Journey of Dr. B R Ambedkar written by Sri. Dattopant Thengadi ji published by Kurukshetra Prakashan was launched in the function by former KPMS State President, Sri. N K Neelakandan Master by presenting the same to Sri. Saji Narayanan Ji.Padma Shri Awardee, Sri M K Kunjol was honoured with a Ponnada by Sri. Saji Narayanan in the function.The meeting was chaired by Sri. Unnikrishnan Unnithan, BMS Kerala State President. The book was introduced by Journalist Sri. A G Babu. Kurukshetra Prakashan MD, Sri. C K Radhakrishnan and BMS State Secretary Sri. K V Madhukumar addressed the gathering.
